The ancient travel theme is carried out well, without being too much or overwhelming. Artifacts from world travels, antique globes and maps decorate the walls, and the cozy lounge as well.

Since this is a boutique hotel, each of the rooms and suites is slightly different; but all are featuring varying warm color palette and soft lighting. Some of the rooms even come with private balconies, which provide some excellent views of the Eiffel Tower! Now my list of the best Paris hotels near the Eiffel Tower wouldn’t be complete without including at least one palace. Much more than a five star hotel, establishments receiving a palace distinction are deemed to be at the height of luxury. Located just across the river from the Eiffel Tower, the Shangri-La is one of Paris’ most renowned palace hotels. Spending the night here will set you back over a thousand euros, but if your budget is on the larger side it’s an unforgettable Parisian experience.

Opulence and modernity are everywhere at the Shangri-La, the hotel is actually located in a former royal residence! Rooms are spacious and elegant, plus most offer a pretty incredible view of the Eiffel Tower. Guests will also enjoy a beautiful indoor pool and an expansive rooftop.
