Tourism Ireland has launched a new marketing campaign, ‘Fill your heart with Ireland,’ to attract potential overseas visitors to the island of Ireland. The new campaign features a suite of videos that showcase the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of Ireland. The videos highlight the soft adventure, rich heritage, and spectacular landscape of the island of Ireland.
The videos are being shared with Tourism Ireland’s six million social media followers across all key markets, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. The campaign is expected to deliver one billion impressions or opportunities to see what the island of Ireland has to offer.
Elmagh Killeen, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Brand & Marketing Communications, said: “Tourism Ireland is excited to unveil our new suite of videos, which are part of our ‘Fill your heart with Ireland’ global campaign. The videos focus on the passion points of potential overseas visitors, such as cycling and hiking, rich built heritage, and the spectacular views and landscape of the island of Ireland. We believe that these videos will inspire our fans and followers on social media to put the island of Ireland on their holiday ‘wish list.’”
One of the videos features a road trip in counties Donegal and Antrim, showcasing the fun, unique, and enriching experiences that can be had on a road trip in Ireland. The video features stunning locations such as Mamore Gap, Wild Alpaca Way at Five Finger Strand, Horn Head, Island Roy, Portrush, and Ballygalley Head.
Cycling and hiking are also key passion points for prospective overseas visitors, and Malin Head features in Tourism Ireland’s new hiking ad, while Glenveagh National Park is the backdrop for the new cycling ad.
Tourism Ireland has also created three videos to highlight the rich heritage of Ireland, featuring Slane Castle, Glenarm Castle, and the Hill of Tara. These videos showcase the cultural richness of Ireland and highlight the many unique experiences that can be had on a visit to the island of Ireland.
Tourism Ireland is responsible for promoting the island of Ireland overseas as a leading holiday destination. Its international website is available in 21 market sites across 18 different countries and one international site in seven language versions worldwide.
