The Global Day of Parents: Events Lined Up in Rome to Honor Parents

The twelfth anniversary of Global Parents’ Day is approaching as Romans prepare to celebrate the parents in the city and worldwide. Since being established by the United Nations in 2012, Global Parents Day on June 1 has been used to appreciate the good work that parents are doing across the city and worldwide. 

On this day, people recognize the critical role that parents play in nurturing and raising children. It is an open event where everyone is free to celebrate, including children who are celebrating their parents.

Global Parents Day is a forum where people acknowledge that parents are important for children’s well-being and general development. Parents teach their children how to walk and how to talk and eventually help them develop into important people in society. Therefore, there is a need to recognize and appreciate the important work that parents are doing.

On this day, children will also have the chance to express gratitude to their parents for taking care of them before they become old enough to fend for themselves. The bond between these children and their parents is possibly the most genuine they will ever have in their lives, and they will have a chance to appreciate their parents. 

Parents also have a platform to express their feelings. According to National Today, parents also recognize that it is their primary responsibility to take care of their children. Therefore, you are either someone’s child or parent and this event is important for you.
