Picture yourself enjoying cool rosé wines from Rosalia‘s best vineyards while taking in the breathtaking architecture of Budapest and the warm Hungarian sun.

Held in the verdant environs of City Park from May 31 to June 2, 2024, as reported by Budapest by Locals, the Rosalia Wine Picnic is more than just a wine festival. Set against the charming backdrop of Vajdahunyad Castle, it combines some of the best of Hungarian wine culture with the fun of outdoor picnicking.

For visitors who are not familiar with the location, you have the option of riding the M1 (Yellow Line) and exit at the stops at Hősök tere or Széchenyi fürdő. According to Budapest by Locals, the Rosalia Wine Picnic is pen for the following hours: 11:00 to 21:00 on Sunday, 12:00 to 24:00 on Saturday, and 14:00 to 24:00 on Friday.

The best part is that admission is free, however, for the full experience, sample the wine by buying or renting an official Rosalia glass. A chic Stölzle crystal glass costs 3,200 HUF, or you can choose to rent one for 1,000 HUF plus a deposit of 2,000 HUF.
