Paradox Comes to London: Optical Illusion Museum Set to Open This July

It’s mind-boggling, nothing makes sense, and reality seems unreal. Add ultra- instagrammable, and it’s an experience  whose hype might be worth checking out. That is the Paradox Museum, a global chain of optical illusion galleries with outposts in cities like Miami, Berlin, Las Vegas, Shanghai, Barcelona, just to mention a few.  It is now coming to London at Knightsbridge next month. The location is barely a minute walk away from the well-known Harold’s department store.

What’s there to see?

Just like the name suggests, visitors will be stepping into a world full of paradoxes. Perception is challenged with uniquely crafted rooms that present inverted realities. Defy gravity in a reversed room, where everything is upside down, or play the illusionist in the camouflage section. Then try walking straight through the paradox tunnel before ‘flying’ through an infinity well. There are over 50 interactive exhibits and immersive rooms to blow your mind.

With these kind of mind-bending experiences, the museum is curated to challenge the senses in a fun and educational way. What’s more, is that there are numerous photo ops for the gram, making it even more fun to walk through. In any case, were you really there if you didn’t strike a pose? The museum is set to open in July, 2024, and is suitable for all ages. Operating hours are scheduled at 10 am to 5.30 pm on Monday, Thursday and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday, the museum will be open from 10 am to 7 pm. Tickets start from £ 14 for children and £ 18.50 for adults.
