Make Time for Prague’s Fizzy Celebration of Summer

Prague’s popular Bubble Festival, known locally as “Bublinka,” is set to make a sparkling return on July 14, 2024. For those who will make time for the  event, held in front of the Cross Club, it is a promise of a day filled with bubbles, both in glasses and in the air.

From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., visitors can enjoy a wide range of sparkling wines, including prosecco, champagne, and local Czech varieties. The festival is specifically organised to celebrate summer.  Over shared love for bubbly drinks and good food people are connected.

“We’re excited to host Bublinka again,” says Jana Novakova, event organizer. “It’s a chance for locals and tourists to discover new flavors and have fun.”

The festival will feature over 10 wine vendors,. On offer is everything from Italian prosecco to French champagne. Visitor can also have a taste of Czech wines as local wineries will also showcase their sparkling wines.

Food options will include Neapolitan pizza, cakes, and carefully selected cheeses and hams to pair with the drinks. A charity flea market selling sustainable fashion will add a socially conscious element to the festivities.

For those worried about the summer heat, organizers have planned for shaded areas and cooling stations. “We want everyone to enjoy the bubbles safely,” Novakova adds.
