Celebrities including actors and actresses can do so much more beyond what they do on-screen. The hidden talents vary with each celebrity where some have extremely impressive talents like touching their nose with their tongue while some are excellent knife throwers or talented magicians.

While these talents are interesting there lies a rising star with quite impressive skills.  The 20 year old actress, Jenna Ortega, is already well known for her captivating performances on screen, especially her performance in the eight-part Tim Burton-directed series, Wednesday. Hint, it has something to do with her height.

For those who are not aware, the protagonist of Wednesday measures 5-feet-1-inch; 1.55m. She revealed her height when she was doing an interview with Wired where she explained, “I’m 5-foot-1, or maybe a touch less…but I think that’s what I am, that’s what I say.”

The height difference between Ortega and Gwendoline Christie is huge and the two have been captured together severally on screen exaggerating Ortega’s height in general.  Its just hillarious how tiny she seems beside her and fans have been quick to make jokes about it.

It’s safe to say that Ortega is a bit insecure about her height and luckily for her heels could play an important role in helping her overcome or control her insecurity. It explains why the actress almost always shows up in heels.

 Some of her favourite heels include the Jimmy Choo Heelsmax 150 platform sandal, Le Silla shoes, Mary Jane platform pumps, Valentino plat formed heels and are usually 6 to 5 inches or XXL. “I create a lot of anxiety for the action coordinators,” she adds.

As to whether it’s a talent stemming from her insecurity, fans consider the skill a talent. Not every person can run with heels as high as 4 inches let alone 6.   Fans are glad that the actress is embracing her height in a positive light.

Indeed, Jenna Ortega has proved once again that skills can make an insecurity seem as a talent.  We do not doubt her on-screen performances and we most definitely don’t doubt her hidden talent, we’ve all seen her dressed up in heels.

This skill truly adds an extra layer of intrigue to her already remarkable persona, what’s not to like.
