Irish hotels have made the cut in the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards for the Best of the Best hotels in Europe. Out of the 25 top hotels listed, five Irish hotels made it to the top 10 of the list. The Merrion Hotel in Dublin topped the list of Irish hotels, ranking 19th on the list of Best of the Best hotels in Europe. The Killarney Park in Kerry and Harvey’s Point in Donegal came in second and third on the list respectively. Adare Manor in Limerick and The Mont in Dublin placed fourth and fifth.
The Merrion Hotel, a luxury five-star hotel in Dublin’s city centre, was described as “a charming place in Dublin with historical and artistic touches. You’ll find luxurious accommodations, including spacious bathrooms and attention to detail.” The website also noted that “the hotel’s elegant vibe, incredible art collection, and professional staff set it apart.”
The Killarney Park Hotel in Kerry, which ranked second on the list, is set amidst 25,000 acres of National Parkland, making it a popular choice for those who want to explore the great outdoors. It also boasts a spa, tennis court, and private gardens.
Harvey’s Point in Donegal, which ranked third on the list, is a luxury lakeshore hotel that offers stunning views of Lough Eske. The hotel features a fine dining restaurant, an outdoor hot tub, and a scenic lakeside terrace.
Adare Manor in Limerick, which placed fourth on the list, is set on an 840-acre estate and features a championship golf course, a spa, and several dining options. The Mont in Dublin, which placed fifth, is located in the heart of Dublin’s city centre and offers a rooftop bar with panoramic views of the city.
Other Irish hotels that made the list include Dromoland Castle Hotel in Co Clare, Hayfield Manor Hotel in Co Cork, and Muckross Park Hotel and Spa in Co Kerry. The awards are based on the quality and quantity of reviews and ratings on Tripadvisor over a 12-month period.
