Disquaire Day, also known as Record Store Day in the United Kingdom and across the Atlantic, is returning to Paris and the Île-de-France region, among other places. Mark your calendars for this year’s vintage vinyl hunt on Saturday, April 20, 2024!
Every spring, Disquaire Day provides an opportunity to discover nearly 200 previously unreleased, rare, or collector’s items, which are sold exclusively at approximately 50 independent record stores in and around Paris.
Remember how many vinyl fans and enthusiasts were able to pick up some real gems in previous editions, such as those by Catherine Ringer, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Benjamin Biolay, Bruce Springsteen, Bat For Lashes, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, David Lynch, Foals, Kate Bush, Marianne Faithfull, and The Stooges & The Black Keys? This year’s Record Store Day features a variety of vinyl collectors’ items from -M-, Black Sabbath, Blur, Christophe, David Bowie, Def Leppard, Donna Summer, Elvis Presley, Ennio Morricone, Etienne Daho, Garbage, John Lennon, Keane, Lou Reed, Marianne Faithfull, The Cranberries, and The Doors. This event also provides an opportunity to discover a variety of events, such as DJ sets, intimate showcases, one-of-a-kind concerts, aperitifs, and book signings, all of which celebrate a shared love of music.
