Summer is just around the corner, and so are highly awaited summer festivities. One of these is the Somersby Out Jazz, a free open-air music festival. Its 18th edition returns this May running through September in Oeiras. The latter is part of the Lisbon metropolitan area, and about 19 kilometers drive from Lisbon.

 Every Sunday from 5pm onwards, concerts featuring jazz, soul, funk, and hip-hop will be held in five gardens and parks across Oeiras, followed by DJ sets at sunset. The festival kicks off on May 5th at Parque dos Poetas with Vasco Pimentel Trio and Lucas Bicudo.

The lineup is set for all 22 Sundays, with artists like Berlin & Jonydafox, Samuel Lercher Trio & Yanagui, Preserved Dreams – Bruno Margalho Trio & Señor Pelota performing in May.

Visitors can check the festival’s Instagram for the complete schedule across all locations: Jardins da Quinta Real de Caxias (June), Miraflores Urban Park (July), Jamor Urban Park (August), and Gardens of the Marquês de Pombal Palace (September). Note that outside drinks are not allowed.
