Mark Vanderloo is a Dutch model and actor. As a model, he is well-known for his work with Hugo Boss and other super brands. He is the face of Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect trilogy.

Mark Vanderloo was born on April 24, 1998, in Waddinxveen. When he turned three, his family moved from the Netherlands to Kenya and he spent most of his childhood there with his family.

Vanderloo attended the University of Amsterdam to study history at the age of 22. Also, at 22, he got acquainted with modeling when he accompanied her model girlfriend to a photoshoot.
