Andrea Brillantes is the alias of young Filipino actress Anndrew Blythe Daguio Gorostiza. She was born on 12th March 2003 (19 years old at the time of writing).

Despite her age, she is already an accomplished actress having already worked in multiple films, movies, and TV shows. Brillantes is mostly known for her role as the titular character in the 2013 film Annaliza.

Some of her other outstanding performances have come in projects such as Pangako Sa ‘Yo, Bagani and Maalaala Mo Kaya: Marriage Contract.

1. She Made Her Debut In 2011

Brillantes made her first appearance on television in the show Goin’ Bulilit. Goin’ Bulilit is a Philippine comedy program by ABS-CBN. She had a role in the program from 2011-2013 and left before she could graduate from the show.

Later, in 2011, still she appeared on the 2010 ABS-CBN drama series Alyna. On Alyna she played the role of Sofia Alvaro, Alyna’s daughter.

In 2013, she landed her first leading role in the drama series Annaliza. She played the role of Annaliza, a girl who under the care of foster parents faced numerous tribulations.

The role of Annaliza had been previously portrayed by late actress Julie Vega who passed away in 1985. The program debuted on May 27, 2013, and ran until March 21, 2014.
