The  most wonderful time of the year is during the holiday season . It is even more joyful than most thanks to the fact that we can actually eat, drink and be merry together. 

Christmas markets are a fun, festive, sustainable and shipping delay-proof way to do your holiday shopping. Whether you’re on the hunt for that perfect gift for your furry friend, a candle for your new flame, a locally made throw blanket to cozy up your living room or just want to do some people-watching, Here are the best Christmas markets in Los Angeles

1,Unique LA Holigay Market at the Row DTLA

Shop small and have some fun along the way at The Row DTLA’s Unique LA Holiday Market. It is usually open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday,  and Sunday.

The Row’s Unique LA Holiday Market is truly unique and includes a whopping 150 artists, designers and brands, plus fun activities like portrait drawing, DIY gift wrapping, lawn bowling and a wine bar. Ticket prices range from $12 for a single-day general admission pass to $30 for a two-day VIP ticket. 

2. The Grove at Farmers Market

It is located  along the 189 the Grove drive Los Angeles. It usually open on Monday- Thursday from 10:00 am to 9pm, Friday – Saturday from 10am to 10pm and Sunday from 10 am to 8pm.

The Grove  was built from actual Boston streetcar from the 1950s. It host several events throughout the year. One is recommended to visit the place. During Christmas time, it is a bug favorite to many locals.

The Grove has artificial snow failing in the evening. Santa is always ready to take request from children of all aged. Concerts, fashion shows and drive in movies screening take place at the the Grove.

3.Disco Christmas Pop-up Night Market and Mixer

As the  name suggests  the Disco Christmas Pop-Up Night Market and Mixer. It  is just known as the Downtown LA attraction. The market  is a  total blast. From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Angelenos are invited to don their grooviest holiday attire and enjoy an evening of supporting small businesses, networking, prizes, live performances and more. There’s even an ugly sweater contest and admission is free.

4. Santa’s North Pole Journey at the Westfield Century City

Every day of December leading up to Christmas, Santa is sett up camp at Santa’s North Pole Journey at the Westfield Century City Mall. It is usually open  from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is located in the Westfield century city mall at Santa Monica Los  Angeles.

There are usually  games, opportunities to pose for photos with Santa, faux snow. Also has  a post office that sends letters directly to the North Pole, a holiday market and, of course, all of the shops and fun that are typically found at the Westfield Century City Mall.

5. The Swedish Christmas Fair Torrance

 It is one day-indoor event at the Torrance Cultural Art center. It is one of the Swedish markets in LA area. The market is normally organized by a separate chapter of SWEA.

This is the place where you get your Christmas shop on. By browsing great selection of genuine Swedish handicrafts. They include of Christmas souvenirs, jewelry, fine art and toys.

 Also at the Swedish Christmas fair you will get to witness traditional folk dancing and St Lucia with her choir preform twice during the day. There also a Santa Claus in the area.

One is recommended to sip some glogg and select some baked goods to take home with you. The fair is non-profit and it is for good cause. It is usually organized by volunteers.

6.Angel City Market in Inglewood

The Angel City Market Inglewood is basically the closest you’ll get to “walking in a winter wonderland” in LA. It has  more than 65 plus clothing, jewelry and accessories vendors, food, libations and opportunities. It  connect with  the  community.

The Angel City Market has the promise of a fantastic family activity. There are also Frozen characters walking around, a live DJ, face painting and a kids play area. The entry fee is only $1, but young people under 16 and residents of Inglewood and Lennox get in free.

7. Junior League Los Angeles Harvest Boutique at the Skirball Center

The Junior League of Los Angeles’s Annual Harvest Boutique is where philanthropy and style meet. Shop small businesses and support the many LA-based organizations that JLLA Supports (Harvest Home, United Friends of the Children and Alliance, to name a few) 

Get to enjoy a festively decorated Skirball Center. This year you can knock off all of your holiday shopping in one place and take care of your holiday floral arrangements thanks to The Flower Truck LA’s Pop Up.

8. Holiday Season Indoors and Outdoor Pop-up in studio city

If you’re in the valley and looking to enjoy some seasonally-appropriate cheer.  You consider stopping by the Holiday Season Indoor & Outdoor Pop-Up in Studio City. It is located in Tujunga Avenue Los Angeles. It has  20-plus small businesses, but there are also indoor and outdoor shops so you can feel safe no matter what your comfort level is.

9. Culver City Arts District Holiday Night Market 

Get ready for a night of music, local artisans, food trucks, drinks and more at the Culver City Arts District Holiday Night Market It usually open  from 5 to 10 p.m. on Fridays.  It is located in Ivy station.

It’s a free, wonderful way to support small businesses in the area and a creative idea for a family outing or date night.  The market has a free parking

10. Grand Central Market Bazaar

One is recommended to head  to this annual shopping event for unique kitchen, pantry and tabletop. Also one can  find all sorts of foodie goodies. It normally starts from November 29.

The  Grand Central Market host its shopping bazaar every Friday through Sunday starting at 11am in the downstairs basement event space. As added incentive, you can also treat yourself to finger-licking food and drink from one of the many vendors upstairs.
