First of all, you need to know that Portuguese men enjoy a good laugh. A lot! If you do have a sense of humor, I’m sure he will enjoy your time together even more.

Humor is your best tool to break the ice and to set a more laid-back atmosphere between you.

I’m pretty sure making him laugh will seduce him and make him more enticed.

Be honest

Honesty is key to a healthy relationship. Make sure you’re always honest with him, since it is very appreciated by the Portuguese men.

Plus, you will feel much better about yourself. There’s no need to disguise anything. Be true to yourself and to him.

They love their mama’s food

Portuguese men usually love their mum’s food. If you happen to be a good cook, I guess you will definitely win his heart.

Portuguese people have very strong family values. If you spend several months in Portugal and get to hang out with Portuguese families, you will see that they truly appreciate to get together, have endless sunday lunches.

If you two are too divided or opposed, the relationship may not last very long. There might be too many conflicts between you.

Surprise him

Trying to surprise him from time to time is an excellent way to turn any relationship into an interesting one. Get him out of his comfort zone, make unexpected moves, be passionate and let him know how you feel.

We mostly regret the things we did not get to do, rather than the ones we’ve actually done. Take your chance and don’t be afraid to take the first step.

From my experience, I can say that most of my male friends are very friendly, funny and outgoing. They love to spend time with their friends, which is totally normal.
