Gunung Payung Beach is a secluded beach with a few hundred steps and a rocky road situated on the east side of Pandawa beach. The view is just breathtaking.

Crystal clear water, there’s a small cave that we can use as a place to rest of have some shades during hot sunny days. It shares the same shades on hot sunny days.

It shares the same features as nearby beaches like Pandawa and Melasti, a beach with a cliff. A good place to enjoy the sunset.

A paragliding activity can be hired at the entrance of the beach. There are several warungs, toilets, and very large parking spots on Gunung Payung beach.

The natives fondly call Gunung Payung Beach as Pantai Gunung Payung. It is one of the hidden beaches on Bali’s southern coast which extends a quite seascape along with some precious sights of the surrounding.

The location of the beach exists got its name from the Hindu temple complex that is Pura Dhang Kahyangan Gunung Payung and it is one of the most famous places to visit in Kuta.

The temple complex is located on a cliff top which can be seen from a distance before heading down to the beach. From Nusa Dua, one will take around half an hour’s drive to reach this beach.

The beach is located quite remotely from the eyes of vendors and thus its purity remains stubborn. But the problem is that you have to carry water and some snacks with you because you will not find many shops nearby.
