Pierre David Guetta was born on 7 November 1967 in Paris, France. his father, Pierre Guetta, was born in a Moroccan Jewish family, while His mother, Monique, is of Belgian descent.

[Through his father, David Guetta is the younger half-brother of the prominent French journalist Bernard Guetta and of the Franco-Italian actress Nathalie Guetta.

David Guetta loved singing and playing music from his childhood. Initially, he used to play only dance music, but later, he became interested in house music.

 A native of Paris Guetta began to DJ at the Broad Club in Paris. He first played popular songs, and he discovered house music when he heard a Farley “Jackmaster” Funk track on French radio in 1987.

The next year, he began hosting his own club nights. . It was during one of those nights in 1992 that he met Robert Owens, a Chicago-based house legend who was on a tour in Europe.

Guetta played Owens some of his own tracks and he picked one he liked enough to sing over. The result was “Up and Away,” a minor hit that lurked in garage DJ crates for the next four years.

The fun-loving slacker DJ finally got around to releasing a collection of his own productions in 2004, Just a Little More Love on Astralwerks. Guetta Blaster arrived that same year, followed by Poplife in 2007.

Chris Willis sang lead vocals on the latter album, which spun off multiple dance singles in multiple countries. Fuck Me I’m Famous: International, Vol. 2 was released in July 2008, and it gave the audience a taste of the stylish sounds that orchestrated Guetta’s summer club events in Ibiza.

In 1992 David Guetta married nightclub manager Cathy Lobé. The couple has two children together, a son Tim Elvis Eric and a daughter named Angie.

Cathy Lobe is a former nightclub manager and event organizer, socialite, and actress. She was born in Dakar, Senegal on 27 March 1967. Her father was from Cameroon, and her mother was French.

 The couple divorced in a Paris court in March 2014, after twenty-two years of marriage.
