1. Palm Beach
Palm Beach has a median household income of $169,500. It is part of the South Florida metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, Palm Beach had a year-round population of 9,245. Forbes reported in 2017 that Palm Beach had at least 30 billionaires, with the town ranking as the 27th-wealthiest place in the United States in 2016 according to Bloomberg News.
Many famous and wealthy individuals have resided in the town, including United States presidents John F. Kennedy and Donald Trump. Palm Beach is known for upscale shopping districts, such as Worth Avenue, Royal Poinciana Plaza, and the Royal Poinciana Way Historic District.
2. Key Biscayne

Key Biscayne has a median household income of $167,815. The village is part of the Miami metropolitan area of South Florida. The population was 14,809 at the 2020 census, up from 12,344 in 2010. Because of its low elevation and direct exposure to the Atlantic Ocean, it is usually among the first Miami areas to be evacuated before an oncoming hurricane.
In 2000, the median income for a household in the village was $86,599, and the median income for a family was $107,610. Males had a median income of $86,322 versus $46,765 for females. The per capita income for the village was $54,213. As of 2000, speakers of Spanish as a first language accounted for 59.73% of residents.
3. Pinecrest

Pinecrest has a median household income of $161,261. The village is part of the Miami metropolitan area of South Florida. As of the 2020 census, the population was 18,388. Pinecrest is governed by a five-member village council and operates under the council-manager form of government. The ZIP code that encompasses most of the village, has been consistently ranked as one of the most expensive in the United States.
4. Parkland
Parkland has a median household income of $155,305. As of the 2020 census, the population of Parkland was 34,670. Parkland is part of the Miami metropolitan area, which was home to 6,166,488 people in 2020. Parkland’s zoning laws are designed to protect the park-like character of the city. There were no stores or traffic lights in Parkland until the mid-1990s and early 2000s when large neighbourhood developments were built. The city of Parkland has been known since its early days for its assortment of park spaces and its emphasis on environmental preservation. For the first few decades of its existence, horses outnumbered the town’s population.
5. Southwest Ranches
Southwest Ranches has a median household income of $147,320. It is a suburban community part of the Miami metropolitan area and is located on the eastern edge of the Everglades. Because the area has many horse ranches and is located in the southwestern part of Broward County, residents chose Southwest Ranches over other potential town names.
The population at the 2020 census was 7,607. The town includes the former census-designated places of Country Estates, Green Meadow, Ivanhoe Estates, Rolling Oaks, and Sunshine Ranches as well as sub-neighbourhoods Landmark Ranch Estates and Sterling Ranch Estates, all of which are now Southwest Ranches neighborhoods. To support its rural equestrian lifestyle, the town has developed many equestrian trails.
6. Miami Shores
Miami Shores has a median household income of $144,378. The city is part of the Miami metropolitan area of South Florida. As of the 2020 census, the population was 11,567. Between 2012–2016, 40.2% of village residents spoke a language other than English at home, 49.2% possessed a bachelor’s degree or higher, and the median household income was $101,047. About 6.5% of the population were below the poverty line.
7. Palmetto Bay

Palmetto Bay has a median household income of $141,420. Palmetto Bay includes two neighbourhoods that were former census-designated places, Cutler and East Perrine. The village is part of the Miami metropolitan area of South Florida. The population was 24,439 as of the 2020 US census. Burger King moved to its current headquarters in unincorporated Miami-Dade County in July and August 2002. The former Burger King headquarters as of 2007 houses rental offices for several companies.
Between 2009 and 2013, the average median income for a household in the village was $105,122. This has since increased to $141,420 in 2023. Also, between 2009 and 2013, the per capita income for the village was $39,271.
8. Naples

Naples has a median household income of $140,762. Naples is mostly known for its high-priced homes, white-sand beaches, and numerous golf courses. Naples is the self-titled Golf Capital of the World, as it has the second most holes per capita out of all communities and the most holes of any city in Florida. The city is also known for being appealing to retirees, and a large percentage of the population is made up of them.
Naples is home to The Naples Players, Naples Shakespeare Festival, Opera Naples, the equity theatre company Theatre Zone, and Gulfshore Playhouse. The Naples Philharmonic and The Baker Museum are located at Artis, Naples, which also serves as the educational campus for the Naples Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, Youth Chorus, Youth Jazz Orchestra and Youth Symphony. The Holocaust Museum and Education Center of Southwest Florida educate about 155,000 students each year both in its facility and with a local travelling exhibit.
9. Weston

Weston has a median household income of $139,772. The population was 68,107 at the 2020 census. Companies with large operations in Weston include Ultimate Software, DHL, Marriott International, Abbott Laboratories, Mondelez, Cleveland Clinic, Royal Caribbean, Rockwell Automation, and American Express. Weston is a very wealthy area, with an estimated median household income of $122,774 in 2021 which has since increased in 2023.
10. Longboat Key

Longboat Key has a median household income of $138,140. The median income for a household in the town was $290,251, and the median income for a family was $307,983. Males had a median income of $261,157 versus $230,104 for females.
The per capita income for the town was $280,963. About 0.4% of families and 0.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 0.9% of those under age 18 and 1.0% of those age 65 or over.
