Staying in this area, you will experience the bohemian vibe making it one of the coolest areas to stay.

Leith may not be popular among travellers in Edinburgh but is an area that I would recommend to stay in. The reason Leith is on our list is that the area has an artistic vibe to it and hosts several cultural events.

There are several hipster cafés alongside Michelin star restaurants, the choice is yours. The architecture like most of Edinburgh neighbourhoods is Georgian as well as modern.

Leith is a little bit further from the city centre with an almost countryside vibe. A trip to and from using the bus will take you at least 20 minutes on each trip.

You will find diverse and affordable accommodation options, and you may also consider renting an apartment to experience life like a local.

This area is best to stay in if you are looking for an area with fewer tourists and a home feel.

There are vegan and vegetarian cafés here that offer the best and delicious cuisine; you will also find sausages and other delicious foods.
