5. Norrlyst

Norrlyst is located in the heart of Copenhagen on the corner of Kompagnistræde and Badstuestræde. Norrlyst focuses on pure green flavours from good Nordic ingredients and the seasons are prioritised in the food. 8. L’ Enoteca di Mr. Brunello

L’ Enoteca is a little Italian family-owned restaurant with a wine shop incorporated with more than 600 different labels in different years and editions among these more than 70 different Brunellos. A mere 90% of all the wines are from their own import which they sell for the same prices as well-assorted wine shops in Copenhagen.

The rest of their wine selection are averagely sold at around 50% more than regular wine shop prices or almost the same as half the normal price of other restaurants. In other words, it’s possible to have both delicious Italian food, location, and wine at L’Enoteca, but also supreme wine at a good price.

9. Aamanns 1921

A visit to this appealing city centre restaurant is made all the more enjoyable thanks to its original stone arches and friendly, attentive service. Høst is the Danish word for harvest. As the name reveals, great Nordic ingredients and seasonal greens set the agenda at Høst served with a sense of both the rustic and the elegant, and always with big flavours.

Restaurant Palægade has risen from the ashes after a devastating fire in March 2020. The rebuild has been a labour of love, and we are proud to say that the new restaurant is even better than before. A self-proclaimed lunch restaurant and only open during the day, this charming spot is named after the famed Danish composer Carl August Nielsen who once lived in this wonky-floored building. This very welcoming restaurant, once a corner shop, is intimate and classic in style.
