The Harbour Round Route is a recognized bicycle path. It is the ideal approach to experiencing a laid-back and typical Copenhagen. A 13-kilometer cycle path makes up the trip. This route connects Nyhavn’s popular attractions with Christianshavn and Sydhavn’s serene canals.

You will pass through the communities of Islands Brygge, Amager Sydhavnen, Vesterbro, the Inner City, Holmen, and Christianshavn while cycling this route. 2. The Forgotten Giants route

The forgotten giants’ route is 53 km. As you spend time investigating Teddy, Trine, Thomas, Tilde, Oscar, and Louis, cycling along this path is enjoyable. These are all examples of Forgotten Giants. These incredible people are dispersed over Copenhagen’s western region. Each of these giants has a lovely appearance, as you will see.

Gravel bikes, mountain bikes, and city cycles are all suitable for this course. The biker will enjoy riding through a variety of terrain along this route. You’ll pass the Arken art gallery and come across the Vallensbaek Strand beach along the way.

The first stop will be in Avedoere, where Hiltop Trine gigantic is waiting to welcome guests to sit in her hands and take in the scenery. From Avedoere, pedal to Roedovre, where you’ll run into Louis dozing down atop a small hill. Vallensbaek Strand will be your next stop. You will run into Oscar Under the Bridge right here. then ride your bicycle to Taastrup and Hakkemosen to view Teddy. When you arrive at Vallensbaek, your final stop, Little Tilde will be posing curiously for the camera.

3. The Mill River Route

From the source of the Mill River to the mouth of the Mill River at Strandmollen (at the shores of Øresund) this route is excellent for exploring the trails and walkways that wind through the environment. This route travels over single-track, dirt roads, and some pavement in the forest.

Some of Denmark’s most important industrial sites, including Lyngby, Fuglevad, Bredvad, Ørholm, Rdvad, and Strandmollen, are located along the road. The factories by the river produced tools, textiles, paper, metals, and weaponry.  4. The Grand Greater Copenhagen Route

This is a 54-kilometer cycling route. From the heart of the city to the outskirts of Copenhagen, this route will lead you on an unforgettable trip. The Queen’s Castle Amalienborg will serve as the starting point for this adventure. It travels north along the Northern Harbor from the castle. You will enter the Bispebjerg Cemetery from the Harbour. You can now enjoy a stunning vista of the Utterslev lake region.

The walk takes you to Vestvolden after you pause to take in the lake’s beauty. You may discover wonderful locations at Vestvolden. At Ejby Bunker, you can pause to indulge in some ice cream. Two of the Forgotten giants, sleeping Louis and Hilltop Trine, can be seen when you cycle through this area.

You can continue cycling along the ocean side from Vestvolden to  Brøndby Strand. As you pedal, you pass a number of incredible, enormous windmills,  Avedøre  Holme, followed by yet another striking scene. As it connects to a number of open-air venues at the Copenhagen Jazz festival, the 34 km Copenhagen Jazz route is one of the greatest routes to ride. These locations are free. Amagerminoen is a 27-kilometer bicycle path that connects Copenhagen’s Ørestad suburb with Naturpark Amager, a sizable nature preserve, and the peaceful hamlet of Dragør. In October 2020, this wonderful route was officially opened. Its position on Amager island gave rise to its name.

Hop on your bike and begin pedaling around “Naturpark Amager” in Copenhagen’s Øresund area. The 27 km of riding will come to a conclusion in the charming, historic fishing community of  Dragør, where you may unwind and take in the splendor of the  Øresund strait

9. The Land of Skjoldungerne Route

130 kilometers make up this route. In the national park of Skjoldungerne, the route follows the trail of the Skjoldunge Trail. Additionally, this path will take you to the Bognaes Peninsula, a forested area with nine dirt roads.

Amazingly, bike riding on this route is in all kinds of terrain, Tarmac gravel roads, single-track hiking trails, and sandy and grassy areas. Thus, a gravel bike or mountain bike is recommended.

10. The Faelled Grinder Route

The route is suggested for leisure and outdoor pursuits. It is 19 kilometers. It provides a fantastic and distinctive experience. You will have the opportunity to halt along this route in the Kalvebof Faelled area and learn about its fascinating history. A historic sea bed once covered this area. However, it was separated from the sea with a 14km long canal in km 1940s.
