You just want to love that Clooney and Pitt are back together again with their charisma, charm and talent. OK, you really want to and should love it, but, alas and alack, there really is no there there.
We start with the very talented Amy Ryan delivering what we expect to be a central character and poof, she is gone in a New York minute. We then seem to be fascinated by a jockey shorts clad body, is he dead or alive or and the romp starts, or should i say the casual stroll starts?
Huge shout out to Austin Abrams and his manic portrayal of the ill fated jockey shorts wearing drug mule. Will say no more as you have to watch this to believe it, pure wonderful.
Not saying that Pitt and Clooney were bad, after all they are perfect 60ish age eye candy, but this movie just had no rhythm or soul or for that matter, much more than a third graders take on a story line.
Well at least we watched via streaming and did not pay the exorbitant price of movie theatre tickets.
