Morna Anne Murray is a Canadian country music star as a singer and guitar player. she was born on the 20th of June 1945 in Springhill Canada.

1. She was a High School P.E. Teacher

Anne Murray always expressed an interest in music when she was young. she studied how to play the piano for six years and took voice lessons by the time she was 15.

She debuted the song of Ave Maria at her high school graduation in 1962. she later joined St. Vincent University in Halifax for a year then moved to the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton to study physical education.

She graduated with her degree in 1966. she then taught physical education to a high school in the summer, Prince Edward Island for one year.

She then became a summer featured performer on the Singalong Jubilee show participating in a soundtrack album as part of the cast.

2. Anne was Featured on Canadian Commemorative Postage Stamps

Anne Murray has been commemorated by her country through the creation of a postage stamp. The Canadian recording artist was featured on the 52-cent commemorative stamp as one of four stars.

The other three are Paul Anka, Joni Mitchell, and Gordon Lightfoot. Canada choose these stars to be posted on retro images and colorful stamps.

Anne Murray enjoyed dabbling in physical activities. As evident from her endeavor to study physical education at the university earning a dree and teaching it for a year.
