The restaurant was opened in 2014 by siblings Nándor Zöldhegyi and Andrea Zöldhegyi. With the growth of the first restaurant, they were able to open a second one at the bottom of the Hegyvidék Shopping Center.

The villa has three different floors; On the ground floor, you can find a bakery offering homemade products such as slices of bread and pastries. The café where you can have an amazing brunch or breakfast is located on the first floor, while there is a salon on the second floor, which is perfect for family get-togethers and private events.

While at Villa Bagatelle, try the Champagne breakfast, which had a brioche with smoked salmon, goat’s cheese, raspberry and a glass of champagne.

Cinnamon Café on Csalogány utca opened in 2017, and is characterized by its beautiful vintage-style interior. The restaurant offers a wide selection of the typical breakfast meals, including both vegan and health options.

The restaurant was founded specifically to provide the area behind Batthyány tér with super breakfasts and brunches. The restaurant perfectly satisfying menu enabled in to grow, and today it is striking a good balance to current mores and a path dictated by current tastes.

à table! is a cozy boulangerie that started out at a small Budapest Street, Retek utca, in 2011. Today it has more than 12 different locations throughout the city.

The café is known to serve authentic French bread, pastries, and sweets. No matter which location you visit, you will truly feel as if you would be sitting in a cute café in Paris, and their prices are mostly on the budget side.

A favorite in à table! is the special pain perdu French toast, Pain au pistachio and mille-feuille.

5. STIKA Budapest

STIKA Budapest is a hipster, pocket-sized café located in the middle of the Jewish Quarter. The café’s interior is decorated with vintage light bulbs and lots of green plants, creating a cozy atmosphere.

The café offers a wide range of dishes on the menu such as avocado toasts, porridge breakfasts, or American pancakes.

However, STIKA Budapest is known for its extensive selection of bennies. You can even have your benny with premium salmon caviar, juicy Angus beef, or mascarpone spinach.
