Best restaurants near Opéra and Grands Boulevards

If you’re looking for some of the best restaurants near Opéra and Grands Boulevards in Paris, you’ve found the right article!

When Napoleon III was reigning during the Second Empire, the city of Paris went under a urban renewal. Paris was still too medieval. The streets were too narrow and not safe. So the emperor decided to renovate the whole city but the Marais neighborhood. It was the Baron Haussmann that undertook these huge projects. The area of the Opéra and the Grands Boulevards are the symbol of the esthetic the city of Paris adopted during that time. Large avenues and the absence of trees allow the visitor to admire the architecture of the buildings, but also to have a closer look at all the details of the Palais Garnier!

This area is definitely one of the most beautiful places in Paris. It has a very rich cultural heritage and slowly became one of the most famous places in terms of fashion and culture. You will love to walk this area or spend the night in there! The nightlife is very lively, there are plenty of bars, Parisian brasseries, and show venues. Also, if you want a typical Parisian experience in a classic brasserie, I have two articles for you to read: this one will introduce you to the Parisian brasseries and this one provides some of the best brasseries for you to try while in Paris. A few of them are found in the area between Opéra and the Grands Boulevards! But for now, read on this article and found out some of the best restaurants near Opéra and Grands Boulevards! I’ve made this special selection just for you!

For some Corsican traditional dishes: A Casaluna

First on my list of the best restaurants near Opéra and Grands Boulevards is a Corsican restaurant. It is the A Casaluna. Located at 6, rue de Beaujolais, you will feel like you’ve travelled to the island of Corsica while in Paris. The chef will prepare for you some of the most delicious Corsican traditional dishes and you will also be able to try some exquisite red wines. From the Opéra Garnier, it will take about 14 minutes to get to the restaurant. But believe me, you won’t regret it. The place is found in a narrow street right by the lovely Jardin du Palais Royal. If you’re looking for a romantic evening with your lover, this is the place! However, note that it is not advisable for vegans and vegetarians, and the average price per person is about forty euros.

I recommend this article for the vegans among you! Thanks to it, you will be able to enjoy a pleasant cruelty-free evening!

For some revisited French dishes: Le 23 Clauzel

Located at 23, rue Clauzel, you will find the Le 23 Clauzel restaurant where the chef Julie Rivière will introduce you to some revisited French traditional dishes. The atmosphere of the place is very quiet and discreet. The staff is thoughtful and attentive. It’s a great place if you want an intimate dinner with a special someone or a small group of friends. The price for a full meal is also about forty euros, and again, it is unfortunately not advisable for vegans and vegetarians.

For an exquisite Japanese meal: Magokoro

The Magokoro is next on my list of the best restaurants near Opéra and Grands Boulevards. Located at 33, rue Lamartine, you will find this Japanese restaurant. Magokoro means “true heart” in Japanese. The name that was given to the place happens to be a perfect choice, because the chef really puts a lot of passion and dedication in his creations. The dishes are heavenly delicious! Plus, there are vegan options! The average cost per person is around 25 euros. The restaurant is quite small, so if you want to make sure you have an available table, it’s best if you book in advance.

For a great meal in a brasserie: Grand Café Capucines

Open everyday of the week, 24 hours per day, there’s the brasserie Grand Café Capucines. At the 4, boulevard des Capucines, you will love this elegant brasserie. All the best French traditional dishes are served in this place. Also, if you feel like enjoying some seafood, head to this brasserie. Plus, the service is very effective. The average price per person is about forty euros. For a fancy French meal in a unique atmosphere, the Grand Café Capucines is the place you should pick! It is only a five minutes walk from the Opéra Garnier.

You now know some of the best restaurants near Opéra and Grands Boulevards! I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this article and that it has been helpful to you. I haven’t been to all the restaurants of the area, so I would be more than glad to hear from your own thoughts and experiences. Tell me your favorite restaurants in Paris!
