Bangkok seems much like a land of mystery and magic to many of the vast hordes of visitors to Thailand’s capital.

Bangkok is certainly vibrant, as well as chaotic, and in many ways it is beautiful.

With its many unique and contrasting cultural aspects and endless hidden corners to explore, this SE Asian capital city is certainly Thailand’s largest social hub for both natives and tourists alike, and a lot of the more recent architectural additions are built to impress.

One thing that comes as a surprise to many first-time visitors to Thailand is that it offers a variety of first-class, ‘hi-so’ experiences, courtesy of the many luxurious hotels, shopping malls, restaurants, and rooftop bars and cocktail lounges that take some beating when it comes to amazing leisure, entertainment, and nightlife spots.

But here we are going to take a look at yet another fascinating angle of the city that also falls into the ‘hi-so’ or ‘must see’ range of experiences – it is rooftops again and, more specifically, rooftop pools.

If you are looking for some of the best views and infinity pools in Bangkok, then look no further. Bangkok undoubtedly has an abundance of amazing rooftop pools with the most stunning urban scene-scapes, so here is our selection of some the best that Bangkok has to offer.

1. The Novotel

There is an amazing rooftop venue on the 25th floor of the Novotel Bangkok, on Sukhumvit Soi 4, right in the heart of the city.

During the daytime this area serves as a tranquil oasis for hotel guests, complete with panoramic views from a fantastic rooftop infinity pool, and by night it is host to the trendy RedSquare rooftop vodka bar.

The pool itself actually contains saltwater, and is surrounded by an array of comfy sun-loungers and red umbrellas. A great place to while away a few afternoon hours or indulge in a drink and a bite to eat while surrounded by breath-taking urban scenery.

The Novotel Bangkok Sukhumvit   is right in the heart of one of Sukhumvit’s many entertainment hotspots and so provides the option of combining a bit of daytime poolside relaxation with a few night time shenanigans. But of course there is always the Red Square rooftop bar if you don’t quite fancy venturing out after all that poolside lazing.
