A lawyer, sometimes known as a solicitor, is a man who is well-versed in the profession of law and is confident in his ability to handle any legal matter that comes his way. With their persuasive arguments, such attorneys are able to save a suspect.

India boasts a number of competent and well-known lawyers who, because of their strong presence and expertise, have won 99 percent of court cases (and hence charge huge fees to hire them). 1.) Ram Jethmalani

Ram Boolchand Jethmalani was one of India’s most well-known lawyers. He was a man with a wide range of abilities and difficulties. At the age of 17, he graduated from the Government Law College in Mumbai with an LLB degree. He went on to earn an LLM credential from SC Shahani Law School in Karachi.

Ram Jethmalani was India’s most well-known criminal lawyer. He served as India’s Minister of Union Law and President of the Indian Bar Committee. In 2010, he was elected President of the Supreme Court Bar Association. His fee was estimated to be about Rs. 25 lakh, putting him at the top of the list as the most expensive lawyer of his time.

Even when he was in his 90s, he spoke gracefully and forcefully, causing his opponents to stutter. He was well-versed in both criminal and civil law. He was sharp-witted and brilliant throughout the trial (this is interesting because he, too, pursued several lawsuits for conscience).

2.) Fali Sam Nariman

He is a legal expert from India. He has been a senior counsel at India’s Supreme Court since 1971, and he has served as the head of the country’s bar organization since 1991. Nariman is an international arbitrator who is well-known across the world.

He is one of India’s most illustrious constitutional attorneys, having argued in a number of high-profile cases. From May 1972 until June 1975, he served as Indian Additional Solicitor General.

3.) Soli Sorabjee

After graduating from the Government Law College in Mumbai, Soli Sorabjee was admitted to the bar in 1953. At his law school, Sorabjee received the Kinloch Forbes Gold Medal in Roman Law and Jurisprudence.

Sorabjee was named Senior Advocate of the Indian Supreme Court in 1971. He is also said to have served as India’s Solicitor General from 1977 to 1980 and as the country’s Attorney General from 1998 to 2004. For his advocacy of freedom of expression and the safeguarding of human rights, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan. Sorabjee has held a number of roles in both regional and international organizations, and his fees range from 5 to 10 lakh rupees.

4.) Gopal Subramanium

He is a prominent lawyer who works mostly in the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court of India. From 2009 until 2011, he served as India’s Solicitor General. He dealt with issues like the OBC quota in central educational institutions and the sealing of commercial structures in the residential districts of Delhi. Subramanium has acted as a lawyer for the government in a number of court disputes.

He also served as Chairman of India’s Bar Council during his time as Solicitor General. The National Law Day Award for Outstanding Jurist was given to Subramanium. The President of India presented it to him in 2009 in recognition of his constant professional achievement and adherence to the Bar’s highest standards during his time as a law officer.

5.) Abhishek Manu Singhvi

Abhishek Manu Singhvi Is a well-known Indian lawyer and politician. He became a member of the Indian National Congress as a politician (INC). In addition, a new member of the Indian Parliament has been elected to the Rajya Sabha’s Upper House, representing West Bengal. He also serves as the INC’s spokesman. He is also a top Supreme Court Counsel in India.

Corporate law, constitutional law, commercial law, civil law, and international trade arbitrations are among his professional interests. He became India’s youngest additional solicitor general at the age of 37.

6.) K. K. Venugopal

K. K. Venugopal, also known as Kottayan Katankot Venugopal, is an Indian constitutional lawyer and a senior counsel in the Supreme Court of India.

He was appointed Attorney General of India on June 30, 2017, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Bhutan’s government even employed him as a consultant to help them design their constitution. His fee fluctuates between Rs. 5 and 8 lakhs in every case.

He’s been involved in a number of instances during the previous 50 years. Venugopal was chosen as an amicus curiae to help the Supreme Court in the high-profile 2 G spectrum lawsuit.

7.) Mukul Rohatgi

Mukul Rohatgi in India’s Supreme Court is a senior attorney. He has also served as the Additional Solicitor General of India in the past. He is well-known for his debating skills and self-assurance. Politicians, celebrities, and corporate behemoths are among his clients.

He represented the Gujarat government (in the Supreme Court) in the 2002 Gujarat riots, as well as the Best Bakery and Zahira Sheikh false encounter death cases. His rates range from Rs. 2 to 5 lakhs.

8.) Harish Salve

9.) Ashok Desai

Ashok Desai from 1996 to 1998, lawyer Ashok Desai served as India’s Attorney General, and from 1989 to 1990, he served as the country’s Solicitor General. Desai is President of the Inns of Court (India) Society and Vice President of the Bar Association of India.

Padma Bhushan was bestowed on him. He is regarded as one of India’s best attorneys. He began practising law in 1956 and has appeared in a number of matters before various benches including the Supreme Court of India, most notably in instances involving government organizations and public life and responsibility.

10.) C. Aryama Sundaram

C. Aryama Sundaram is an Indian lawyer. He was given the title of Senior Advocate. He has regularly represented the Indian Cricket Board of Control. Some of his notable clientele include Anil Ambani and many more high-profile businesspeople.

Sundaram focuses on corporate law, although he also handles disputes involving constitutional law and the media. He was a lawyer in the S. Rangarajan case, which resulted in one of the most important rulings on free speech and expression. His charge is between Rs. 5.5 lakh to Rs. 16.5 lakh.
