Free tour. Pay just what you want at the end of your Marais tour
This Marais walking tour jumps back and forth between aristocratic town-houses, up-and-coming designer stores, and trendy spots where Parisians hang out, flirt, show themselves and even shop.
We meet outside a metro station located at the edge of the Paris Marais. We quickly jump into a unique world. We visit Place des Vosges, private gardens, and back alleys.
This Marais walking tour focuses less on tourist landmarks and more on authentic details, private homes and sophisticated shops and art galleries.
Depending on guests’ particular interests that day, the tour may focus more on Jewish culture, old architecture, fashion – or a bit of everything.
The tour concludes by the shores of the river Seine, near metro stations Saint-Paul and Hotel-de-ville.
- Refined town-houses of the French aristocracy – and tales of their escapades and life styles
- Places des Vosges and secluded parks and gardens where Parisians stroll
- Hotel de Sully: the stunning gem you do not see coming
- Paris’ ‘good-looking only’ bar
- The ever-changing Jewish pletzl
