Churches in Paris

Catholic churches

Roman Catholic churches are not hard to find in Paris, with the most famous one being the Cathedral of Notre-Dame.

If you want to see the mass in Notre-Dame I would advise that you go on Sunday, when all the services are held at the main altar. At 8:30am, 12:45am and 6:30pm, the mass is conducted in French, while at 11:30am which is when there is the “international mass”, the mass is in English.

If you want to go to the mass during the week, you can go to the oldest church of Paris; the Saint Germain des Prés Church. Located on the left bank, this church is also a Parisian landmark. You have two masses each day, one at 12:15pm and the other at 7pm. In July and August, there is only one mass every day at 7pm.
